Firstly, foil 2(-7 + 3g): [tex] 6g-14+6g=1-g [/tex]

Next, combine like terms: [tex] 12g-14=1-g [/tex]

Next, add g on both sides: [tex] 13g-14=1 [/tex]

Next, add 14 on both sides: [tex] 13g=15 [/tex]

Lastly, divide both sides by 13 and your answer will be [tex] g=\frac{15}{13}=1\frac{2}{13}\approx 1.15 [/tex]
