prove that

[tex]6\cdot(\frac{1}{9})=3\cdot(\frac{2}{9})[/tex]

start on the left side

[tex]\frac{6}{1}\cdot\frac{1}{9}=\frac{6}{9}=\frac{2}{3}[/tex]

continue with the right side

[tex]\frac{3}{1}\cdot\frac{2}{9}=\frac{6}{9}=\frac{2}{3}[/tex]

we can conclude that both expressions are equal to 2/3.
