i can use doubles to solve 7+8 by asking myself what is 8+8 and that equals 16. Then i ask myself what is 7+7 and that equals 14. Then i know i am using 7 and 8, so i think about what is in between 16 and 14. 15 is between those numbers so the answer is 15.
